Welcome everyone. My name is Barry Oates, however, I write under the pen name of Thomas Heald. I was born in Underwood, in Nottinghamshire, where I live today. Although my background has been in senior sales and marketing, I've had a passion for writing for years. Whilst travelling globally, I used to take a notebook with me and whatever spare time I had, I used to jot down ideas, so that if I ever became a full-time author, I'd be prepared.
